There are many types of system applications to consider when designing a fire protection system that meets the custom needs of the customer’s type of occupancy and usage. For example: the storage height, method, packaging and product composition all have to be taken into consideration along with the available water supply before a system can be designed. There are many new different types of storage “code equivalent” sprinkler systems and sprinkler heads entering the market place monthly that can vastly reduce costs and damage risks when compared to past antiquated methods. This applies to high piled storage in freezers or dry goods. We keep abreast of all the manufacturers’ technology advancements so we can apply them to our customer’s specific needs. We also can analyze a customer’s current sprinkler system versus the storage arrangement and make recommendations to implement a system upgrade that meets today’s codes and insurance underwriter standards.
